NICHOLAS ANDRE BLACKFORD

Nicholas was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He attended Kingston College, Ardenne High School, and the Edna Manley College for the Visual & Performing Arts where he majored in Fine Arts, with specialty in Painting.

On moving to the USA, he embraced the Digital Arts and Design at Atlantic Technical College where he studied Mutli Media Design and eventually furthering his studies at Broward College. His background in Digital Marketing is extensive and he has worked as Marketing Assistant for several years acquiring extensive experience with Email Marketing, Social Media Management and Search Engine Optimization.

Nicholas is currently Director of Marketing and Content Coordination for Yaawd Media Incorporated where his responsibilities extend to content on all the company’s media platforms. In this role he must ensure that the stories behind Jamaica's music and social stories are told in a digestible format far and across the diaspora and beyond.
